As I can imagine you’ve noticed, gas prices have hit all time highs around the country. Here’s my experience with them. I took a trip to Chicago 2 weeks ago. I was told that they had the 2nd highest gas prices in the country (it was around $2/gallon). I came home at the end of that week and discovered a nice $1.55/gallon. Over the next three days, prices increased each day. By the end of the week, prices were up to $2.07/gallon everywhere in town! I heard it’s supposed to peak at $2.75 in the middle of July. What is that nonsense? However, despite our high prices, we did not make it into this article talking about why the prices are high.
