My cousin got married over the weekend in Chicago. I was a groomsman and an usher. I left Friday and got back today. On Friday, there was a lot of preparation and then the bachelor party, during which I managed to get my head shut in a minivan sliding door. On Saturday, we got more things ready, and had the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner: very good pizza. On Sunday, we finished up preparations and had the wedding and reception. I was dead by then, falling asleep in any chair I sat down in. We came back on Monday morning, taking the scenic route. It was a lot of fun. I’m writing up my account of the whole thing. I’m not sure if I’ll put it up here though, or just share it with selected people.
