IT is an invention by Dean Kamen which is said to supposedly be bigger and more influential than both PC’s and the internet. Very few people know what it is exactly, and it won’t be released until 2002. Until then, then lid will be kept very tight. The people that do get to see it have to sign confidentiality agreements. And despite the lack of information, people are still writing books about it and investing money into it. How intriguing. Here’s one of the things suspected about IT:
In a private meeting with Bezos, Jobs and Doerr, Kamen assembled two Gingers — or ITs — in 10 minutes, using a screwdriver and hex wrenches from components that fit into a couple of large duffel bags and some cardboard boxes.
