   Wow. That is quite a streak of bad luck. I’ve never personally had a problem with a WD hard drive.. that I know of.

   LOL.. you lost another array, huh? Did the card behave better this time?

   I’ve never had a problem before this, but having bad drives in seperate batches (60GB, 80GB, and a replacement from WDC) really tainted their image for me.

   The card however worked great  I didn’t lose the array, but I do not trust the drives anymore!  The card beeped and the software e-mailed my ICQ and normal account perfectly:

   Ripped those drives out, and now I’m back up and running now with a new setup, four 160GB drives.  w00t!
