Yeah, well my story is pretty lame because it was passed down from generation to generation (short for Wojciechowski, heh!), so no real story behind it… but how’d you get your’s?
Okay, but I suppose for real. Mine has no good story. I was on the phone with a guy that ran a local BBS. I was logging for the first time, and he was waiting for me to come up with a name. Forgo Everyone is just what came out. It evolved from Forgo Everyone to IW Forgo Everyone to forgo everyone and now is usually just forgo. It doesn’t even carry over into real life. That’s been a problem even since those BBS days. There was a guy that used a nickname that sounded like a real name (can’t think of it atm) and people called him by his nickname. They all commented on how mine didn’t sound like a name, so they just used my real name. To this day, when I meet people that know me from the computer and they call me forgo, it sounds funny.
There is not much behind hyperlite either. It is the name of a popular wakeboard/water ski company. I kinda took it from that. My original nickname was butthead but then my mom was wanting to give out our email address at the house so she could get some stuff and she didn’t want to give out butthead. Go figure. So I was sitting at my 486 and looked over to see my brothers wakeboard and there it was: hyperlite!
