Uhm, what should we do with people in the U.S. that can’t even locate the U.S. on a map? Yep, that’s right… 11% of U.S. citizens surveyed couldn’t even find their own country on a map. That particular result, along with the rest of the results from a National Geographic survey are just so frightening. I didn’t know it was that bad.

58% couldn’t find Japan??
Then again, how important is it really to know where things are? What is the point, exactly?
obviously, you’ve never watched Street Smarts, (streetsmartstv.com). It’s hilarious how stupid people are. One person said there’s 35 stars on the US flag cuz there’s only 35 states. Another said there’s 50 stars to represent the 50 planets. that dumb enough for you?
anyways, Street Smarts is a great show AND they’re having Playboy week this week.
Heh, I’ve watched it but I just can’t justify wasting time watching it anymore when I have better TV to watch
I watch Street Smarts! Frank is funny. He’s the main reason I watch it.
yet you are shocked that americans can’t find their own country on a map. it seems that whatever you are watching is making you lose touch with reality. ppl just aren’t as smart as they appear on fictional shows.
I’m not shocked, per se. I know it’s out there. It’s just disconcerting to see the actual figures.
